The Double Score programme strengthens the 2nd Primary School of Elliniko

A special day for the school community of Elliniko was 23 December, as the delivery of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the 2nd Primary School of Elliniko was successfully completed.

The donation is the practical realisation of the Double Score programme, a Life Support Hub initiative that exists nowhere else in Greece. Double Score links training with equipment: when the majority of the teachers and parents of an organisation are certified in First Aid, Life Support Hub proceeds with the donation of the defibrillator.

At the handover ceremony, the founder of Life Support Hub, Mr Evangelos Karagiannis, delivered the device to the school management, stating:

«At Life Support Hub, through Double Score, we do not stop at theory. Our goal is for knowledge to be accompanied by the necessary tools. Today, the 2nd Primary School of Elliniko does not simply have a defibrillator, but a whole community of people who know how to use it to save a life.»

The defibrillator was received by the school's Principal, Mr Ioannis Nikodimos. The activity was coordinated by the Deputy Principal, Mrs Zoi Mertsiotaki. The school management expressed its warm thanks, stressing the importance of cooperation between private initiative and public education for the safety of children.

With this move, the 2nd Primary School of Elliniko becomes a model of safety, proving that when education meets social contribution, the result is the protection of life itself.
